What the model leaves out
B2C plans. Essentials is sold in MAU blocks (500 for $35, 1,000 for $70, 2,500 for $175 … 50,000 for $3,500) — every block is $0.07 per MAU, but you pay for the whole block, so the price between blocks is higher than this linear model shows. Above 50k MAU, or on Professional ($240/mo for 1,000 MAU, rising to $3,200 for 20,000), prices are non-linear or contact-sales and are not modeled.
Before you commit
- Once you pass 25,000 users on Free you must move to a paid plan and pick a user quota.
- Paid plans are bought in MAU blocks (500, 1,000, 2,500 …), so you pay for the whole block, not the exact number of users.
- Enterprise connections, Self-Service SSO and SCIM on paid plans need the separately priced B2B plans.
- Custom domains on Free require credit card verification.
