What the model leaves out
The DeepEval library is free and open source; the LLM tokens its judged metrics use are yours. Confident AI's hosted plans bill trace spans by GB-month (GB ingested × months retained); its pricing page estimates ~100K traces ≈ 1 GB, so the hosted plans assume that and 1 month of retention — 1 GB-month ≈ 100k traces and $1 per GB-month ≈ $0.00001 per trace. Real trace sizes vary. Team ($2,000/month, 75 GB-months) isn't modeled.
- Confident AI bills trace data in GB-months (GB ingested times months retained), so longer retention multiplies the cost.
- On Free, trace spans beyond 1 GB-month are dropped and test runs beyond 5 a week are locked.
