What the model leaves out

AuraDB Professional is $0.09 per GB of RAM per hour (about $65/month for the 1 GB instance); storage, IO, backups and data transfer are included. The 2 GB storage cap for the 1 GB instance is from an earlier reading (2 GB of storage per GB of RAM); the current page doesn't list included storage, and the docs say each size comes with a base storage allocation that can also be resized on its own. Larger databases need a larger instance (2 GB RAM ≈ $130/month, up to 128 GB RAM). AuraDB Free exists but is limited by node and relationship counts rather than GB, so it isn't modelled. Business Critical is $0.20/GB/hour, about $146/GB/month (minimum 2 GB).

Before you commit
  • Instances bill every hour they run; pausing cuts the cost by 80%, and a paused instance resumes automatically after 30 days.
  • AuraDB Free pauses after 72 hours of inactivity and is deleted if it stays paused for more than 30 days.
  • Business Critical starts at $0.20/GB/hour with a 2 GB minimum.
