What the model leaves out
Pro's base is the Vercel Pro platform fee ($20 per month per developer seat), which you'd usually pay for hosting anyway; its monthly usage credit isn't modelled. Modelled as one event per pageview. Hobby is for non-commercial use under Vercel's plan terms.
Before you commit
- An event is a pageview or a custom event, counted across every project in the team.
- Hobby can't buy more events: after a 3-day grace period collection pauses until the next cycle; custom events need Pro.
- Pro's $20 a month includes a usage credit shared with all other Vercel usage, which can cover analytics events if hosting leaves room.
- Web Analytics Plus ($10 a month per team) adds UTM reports and a 24-month reporting window; Pro alone keeps 12 months, Hobby 1 month.
