Fathom Analytics

Fathom Analytics is a hosted website analytics service that shows pageviews, visitors, referrers, top pages, countries, devices, UTM campaigns and custom events on one dashboard. It doesn't use cookies, so it is meant to run without an analytics consent banner. It is run by Conva Ventures Inc., a Canadian company.

You add one script tag to the <head> of every page: cdn.usefathom.com/script.js with your site ID in a data-site attribute. There are integrations for WordPress and other platforms, single-page apps are handled through a data-spa option, and events are sent from JavaScript or set up for link clicks and form submissions without code.

Every plan has the same features: 50 sites, full history while you're subscribed, event and revenue tracking, shared dashboards, email reports, exports, an API for reports and site management, and automatic bot filtering. A Google Analytics importer brings over GA4 history, without events. Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are processed on servers in Germany and Finland without any setup.

There is no free plan: paid tiers start at 100,000 pageviews a month after a 7-day trial that needs a card, and custom events count toward the same allowance as pageviews. Going over your tier doesn't stop collection or change your bill, but sustained overage brings upgrade requests and can lock access to the dashboard until you upgrade.
